Good afternoon, beloved and valued friends! In an effort to standardize your experience and expectations on us, we are updating our services and pricing descriptions. We are hoping that the descriptions and pricing better reflect our love for your pets and the effort that we, as a local small business, put into each and every experience and interaction we have with you and your precious pooch(es).
After doing much research on most specifically the boarding of pets, I realized that while our pricing was very competitive, it did not reflect the hours of additional work that we pour into your dog that other boarding services rarely provide. Most specifically, one on one interaction and a loving family environment with multiple walks and play sessions per day with no additional fees added.  We truly do tirelessly provide love and caring for your dog while in our care!
Additionally, our new description provides some clarification on drop off, pick up, and items necessary for boarding.

Hi there! Thanks so much for your interest! Services offered and pricing are as follows!
We are located in Manheim. We have a small, home-like grooming salon. The grooming/dog boarding area is located in a section of our home that we converted. The door to the grooming salon is to the left of the garage door off the driveway.
We offer full grooming services. Bathing, conditioning, brushing, blow out, ear & teeth cleaning, nail clipping and grinding. In addition to bathing services, hair clipping and trimming.
A full bath as listed above is $45. Hair clipping (as an added on service) is an additional $25 for a straightforward clip. If we do specialized clipping like a puppy trim, continental cut, teddy bear cut, lamb cut etc it’s an additional $10-20. Hair clipping not as an added on service is $40. Price can vary depending on the size of the dog and the type of hair the dog has. Very large dogs or dogs with difficult to clip hair (examples would be thick & curly hair) will incur a small fee increase.
If there is matting needing to be de-matted there is an additional charge for the time spent to de-mat and comb out the hair. If the dog is “pelted” or matted greater than half of their body, the dog will be clipped down so as not to traumatize the dog. Please be advised that clipping mats releases tight holds the hair has on skin and can result in pooling of blood, creating a bruised looking effect. As it is also dangerous and time consuming to clip a dog down (the goal is to get between the mats and the skin, which can be very tight with a straight clipper without a guard), clipping down incurs additional fees of $50/hr that it takes to complete the clipping.
It is our shared responsibility (yours and that of Pawlished Pooch) to keep your dog safe. If your dog is very anxious during grooming, it may be a good idea to reach out to the vet for options. If your dog is jumping or moving around to the point that it becomes impossible to groom the dog safely, the grooming will be terminated immediately and all grooming fees will remain intact.
Dog boarding is $45/day (includes an overnight) for the first pup and $30/day each additional pup. We love on pups as if they are our own, provide lots of play time, walk 2x/day, and feed /give meds on your schedule! Drop off hours are in the evening between 4pm-8pm, and drop off is by appointment only. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis. Pick up is also by appointment only and varies, but any pick up scheduled later than 6pm will incur an additional day’s boarding fee. Holiday boarding is $55/day for both the holiday and the holiday eve. Any last minute additional added on boarding day requests are at the discretion of Pawlished Pooch and based on availability, but if granted, will incur boarding fees of 1.5x the base rate (example—if boarding one dog, last minute added on days would be $67.50/day).
When boarding your dog with us we will require you to bring the following: dog food, medications/vitamins, any toys or blankets they like, a well-fitting collar and a leash. We have crates of all sizes and bowls that are sanitized between dogs.
Cancellation fees are as follows: NO FEE if cancelled greater than 24 hrs in advance. Dog grooming cancellation fee is $25, and is due immediately. Dog boarding cancellation fee is 20% of the total cost of boarding but no greater than $75, also due immediately. If cancellation fees are not paid immediately they will be added on to the price of the next service.
