As many of you already know, I’ve been working with my son, Chris ,for a few months as my apprentice. He’s extremely meticulous about his work and is improving his skills every day. He’s been a really great second pair of eyes and ideas for me.
I want everyone to know, I am NOT RETIRING!!!. I thoroughly enjoy my work and my relationships with my clients and have no interest whatsoever in hanging it up.
I do however want to make sure that if and when that time comes, I have a competent successor to continue servicing my clients. Right now, I’m enjoying Chris’s company and help, and knowing that I’m setting him up with a nice trade career.
We have also added a pretty cool service to our business. I purchased a laser engraving machine, so that you can have your shears personalized, usually with your name. It’s a fun way to make your shears a little more unique, and in a practical sense it identifies your shears as yours and will eliminate mixups when your coworkers have the same shears. It’s a beautiful, professional look that looks like a factory finish!!
The engraving is Chris’s specialty, and we do them “while you wait” as a mobile service. You can choose from many font options for your shears!
