This May will mark FOUR years of Joy searching for her forever home 😩

Joy's journey began as a scared puppy, but over the years, the incredible shelter team and volunteers worked hard to help her heal. Despite her progress, she remained a bit timid and needed extra love and care. 💕

Most recently, Joy had the amazing opportunity to be fostered by Mike and Christine Foster, who made huge strides with her behavior. However, after relocating out of state, they couldn't take her with them. Not wanting to see Joy regress, our amazing corporate sponsors at PetSuites Northshore stepped up to give her a loving foster home at their resort! Now, Joy gets to enjoy regular playgroups, yard time, and one-on-one attention from their fantastic staff. As you can see in the photos, she's blossoming more every day 🌸

New Pet?? Whether you're an existing client or new to our practice, your first wellness exam for any new pet is only $25.00!!

Even if your new furry (or scaly) friend is current on vaccinations, we still encourage all owners to bring their pets in for a wellness exam with one of our doctors. This establishes a "Doctor - Patient" relationship and also gives our veterinarians the ability to prescribe medications for your pet - especially those really important heartworm and flea preventatives!

Congratulations to our lead technician, Jeff Oertling, who is the recipient of the LVMA H. Bland O'Connor, Jr. Award as 2024 Support Person of the Year. This award is given to an individual who is active in promoting animal health and welfare on the job and in the community. Jeff is an amazing member of our team who gives selflessly to each and every patient! We appreciate all that you do for Riverside and your patients!
