Happy summer to our Elk Horn family. We hope the season’s treating you well. We know we haven’t posted much this spring and summer — the ranch has kept us running from sunup to sundown. Between several brandings, moving cattle from pasture to pasture, and staying ahead of fencing, it’s been a busy stretch. Mother Nature’s been generous with moisture, and it shows across the country: tall grass waving in the breeze, livestock and wildlife thriving, and wildflowers painting the hillsides.
There’s still plenty of summer left to saddle up and enjoy the trails at Elk Horn Corrals. When the day gets warm, ride your horse down to the lake to cool off, or stop by the Rooster Bar & Grill for a cold drink and a snack — just a two‑mile ride down the road from the corrals. We’d sure enjoy seeing you ride in.
