Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day—a day usually marked by sadness, but we’re looking at it through a lens of gratitude. We wouldn't be doing what we do today without the special animals who paved the way.

The dogs who taught us how to be patient on walks, the cats who showed us how to earn trust, and the senior pets who taught us the value of a slow, quiet afternoon. They made us better pet owners, better business owners, and better people.

🐶 Is your pet scratching, chewing, or licking more than usual lately?

August is Itchy Pet Awareness Month, and peak summer heat means peak seasonal allergies, environmental pollen, and pesky pests! ☀️🌾

If you notice your pet doing any of these, they might be struggling with summer itchiness:

🐾 Paw-licking: Constantly chewing or licking their feet after going outside.

👂 Head-shaking: Scratching at their ears or shaking their head frequently.

🔴 Red zones: Irritated skin, belly scratching, or dry patches.

💡 Quick Summer Tip: Wipe your pet’s paws and belly with a damp cloth or pet-safe wipe when they come inside. This simple step quickly removes grass pollen and outdoor allergens before they can cause a flare-up!

If the scratching doesn’t stop, a quick trip to the vet is always the best route to get them some relief.

April vacation week is right around the corner and our schedule is nearly full! At this time, we no longer have availability for overnight stays.

We have very limited openings left for:
☀️ Morning visits (9–11am)
🌤 Afternoon/late afternoon visits (2–4pm)
🌙 Limited evening visits (before 8pm)

If you’re planning to be away or have long days out, now is the time to get your pets on the schedule. Once these remaining spots are filled, we won’t be able to take on any additional visits.

Spots are first come, first served and secured with a 50% retainer. A quick meet & greet and completed paperwork are required prior to confirming all new bookings to ensure the best care for your pets 🐾
