Doodle Bug opened in 2008 and I was a loyal customer until Elizabeth Yackel decided a lifestyle change was in order. I purchased the business from her and have enjoyed many wonderful years getting to know you and your pups!

Brian and I both lost our fathers in 2021 and we have decided to spend more time with family and do more fun things. I’ve made the decision to close Doodle Bug Day Care for new bookings.

If you are already booked for a future date and we have not chatted, please contact me ASAP.

Thank you for trusting us with your fur babies! We’ve had a blast and I will miss them so much. Please keep in touch. I will need updates on what’s happening with them❤️❤️❤️

Some things are hard to post. When you say it out loud it’s real. My dad has been treated for heart failure for over 10 years! My heart is broken to say this, he is now on hospice. We went to a doctors appointment in Franklin last week and this week he is unable to stand.

I love all the dogs that come to visit me! This breaks my heart too, but for now I not taking any new bookings until after Nov. if you are currently booked I will be happy to keep your dogs, but until we figure out the next steps and see what our new normal is like, I must slow down. Doodle Bug Day Care is not closed! Just have to take a break.

Happy fall y’all! We’ve been open thru the pandemic but trying to keep it small. Fall break is always a very busy time! This time lapse was too cute not to share!!

Good morning! I wanted to let everyone know Doodle Bug is still open. I have intentionally slowed down during the Covid pandemic, and it seems a few customers thought I’d closed.

We are taking some time away in September and will have very limited spots available.

We are booking for fall break, and have a limited number of spots open. Can’t wait to see all my dog friends!!
