JJ is getting some show miles. Today we went to a local circuit (ccwc) and he did really well. Even got reserve champion.
But today was the first time he has cantered at at show and did great.

This weekend JJ went to his first dressage and did well. Plenty of room for only but yay!!!

Not everything with horses is fun- tonight JJ decided to look lame- going right- sound left. So he gets to stay in. Since looking closer to his legs and feet didn’t show anything obvious, we wrapped his legs with some poltice, packed his feet, and gave him a little bute. See what we have in the morning

Today was JJs first field trip where I rode him off property. After him forgetting how to load, we got to Another Round Farm and proceeded to have a fabulous ride.

Today JJ had horses coming and leaving while being riden- and the indoor had quite a crowd of 5 horses at one point. And we managed to get some decent trot work in. JJ is still such a baby mindset wise so this was great for him.

So big sister Twix is keeping him working and not totally pleased about it
