A special special thank you, to the bravest men and women who selflessly wrote a blank check, to be cashed with an expense of all the way up to, ones life. In a world that has long forgotten about our Military and all they stand for, all they put their lives on the line for, and all their sacrifices, we cant express just how proud and grateful we are of you all...
We shouldn't have just a special day, or month, we should celebrate those fine folks, every day, with gratitude, and the utmost respect and appreciation, for all they do, and all they have done.
You see our freedom comes with a cost that most cant even imagine. The war doesn't just stop once our brave men and women come home, a piece of it returns home with them and we have to do our very best, every day, to make sure the same hell our true heros deploy to, that its not the same hell they return home to. We need to do better, as a country, to take better care of them...
Although many Americans have disgustingly forgotten about what a true hero is, its not the rapper on the TV, nor a movie star, not even some silly man wearing tights and a mask... The true heros wear Dog Tags and we should let not one second pass, where they dont feel absolutely appreciated, and given the highest of respect.
We have to do better as a country and it needs to happen straight away.
To our Veteran brothers and sisters, thank you for all you did, do, and continue to do each and every day for the betterment of our great country, and for all those in it. You are the true heros of our nation and those around it...
So thank a Veteran, for all he or she has done for your freedom, your rights, and forwarding you a great life, thats been paid for at their expense, their blood, sweat and tears, their families as well. It doesn't stop with the serviceman or woman, as it has a ripple effect on their families too. The worry, the sleepless nights knowing their loved one is deployed, the heart ache, the pain and tears from the aftermath etc...
We thank all of you... All of the families, for all you've endured, for the great and better good of the American People.
I am forever grateful...
One grateful American...
