Saturday update! We are currently sold out of okra, however still picking 40-60 lbs a day. If your still needing to put some up for the winter let us know. Answering all the calls is tough, best bet is to text or use FB Messanger.

About a week away from harvesting a few varieties. ZERO pesticides or herbcides in or near Vineyards.

Also our friends at Dawson's Farm Muscadine Vineyard are just down the road. Check in with Doug and Heather at the Benton farmers market on Saturdays.

Thank you for the kind words.

Several of our customers have given us praise for the ability to offer decent prices on fresh produce so they can preserve for the long winter months ahead. It's our pleasure. We are a small farm with little overhead, a true Mom and Pop operation.

Our philosophy is to overplant everything, we know since we do not spray pesticides 25% loss is expected due to pest.

Tomatoe season is for all practical purposes over. I think at peak we brought in around 1200 lbs in 2 days, you purchased every last one! See pic below. (Please note this picture was from the peak of our season)

Do you or a friend/family member freeze okra for the winter months? If you do hang on before you spend a fortune. Once the Fall plants start producing in a few weeks the price will drop drastically. Harvest will be around 75-100 lbs a day, this is why you support small farms.

There is hope, we sold canning tomatoes to younger people this year, the art of preserving is not totally lost.

This week okra will be $2.00 per lb, 3 lb limit, our customers only, no resale folks. Price per lb will continue to drop and limits will go up.
