A short story about the difference between FRESH eggs and store-bought eggs... and the importance of understanding all instructions prior to cooking... 😅
I decided to learn how to poach eggs, tonight. At first, I just read the directions, which said to separate out the watery egg whites. My brilliant brain took that to mean separate the egg whites. As it was cooking I thought, "well, this isn't right." Went back and watched the instructional video and realized she meant any egg white that's much thinner than the rest.
Well... that part of the egg doesn't exist when you get the eggs from your backyard instead of the store. So that was why I was confused. 😂 This is now my new favorite way to cook my eggs.
