Update on Burnie: he's doing great! Burnie has healed exceptionally well, has found his forever home, and is a happy spunky kitten loving life who thoroughly enjoys terrorizing all his older house siblings. 😉 😸 😻

More kitties came for breakfast this morning! The black fluffy one and the gray fluffy one in the 1st two pictures we haven't seen since the fire. We are so glad they are safe!

The black fluffy one is a dark red-ish black with no visible white and has gooy eyes and the ears are a little torn up along the edges but with no visible swelling or infection. Looks like the fur may have been singed on its back end at one point but otherwise there are no concerning injuries and it can move well. Probably just has a kitty-cold.

Gray kitty looks perfect. The other two we have seen before and come by every once in a while and both look healthy. These are cats we recognize from our neighborhood (except fluffy black kitty) but don't know if they have people they belong to. They will all find food and safety here regardless. ❤❤❤

Had a few cats show up for dinner tonight that I haven't seen before. Sorry for the poor pictures, they wouldn't let me get very close and it was at twilight. I did get a good look at them all through binoculars and they all look good except the white and light orange fluffy one (farthest back in the pic with 2 cats) is limping. All are adults. Also, the black and white is not Pretty Penny, she has the black dip by her eye on the other side of her face, we closely compared known pictures of her.

Caught this cat last night. I tried to get pics of her face and markings as best as I could. She has a collar on but we couldn't see any tags. She is in very good condition and wasn't one of the cats we were after so we let her go. I compared her with the only calico picture I have and this is not Babygirl.

Burnie after his bath. Still healing ❤ Pads and toes are getting better and fur is starting to grow back in places.
