Dr. Kaylee Darty recently joined our practice and will begin taking a full schedule of appointments beginning on Monday, June 29, 2026.
Dr. Darty graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls and went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University. Dr. Darty's professional interests are surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedic, along with behavioral medicine. Dr. Darty is both a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Darty was drawn to Veterinary Medicine because the profession would afford her the opportunity to advocate for patients that can not speak for themselves. It is important to Dr. Darty that she have a career that makes a positive difference to both clients and the pets they love.
Dr. Darty resides in Spring with her husband, who is also a Veterinarian, and their menagerie of pets. Ari, Raya, Tango & Yukon (the dogs) along with their sidekick, Donkey (the cat).

Reflecting on the past two decades since we began our veterinary careers, it's remarkable to see how the landscape of veterinary education has evolved. Back then, opportunities for hands-on experience were scarce, leaving many of us to learn the intricacies of real-world veterinary medicine post-graduation. This lack of early exposure not only shaped our professional paths but also ignited a deep personal passion for mentoring future veterinarians. We understand firsthand the challenges of transitioning from theory to practice, which fuels our dedication to providing aspiring vets with the practical experiences we wish we'd had. This commitment transcends professional duty; it's about nurturing the next generation with the skills and confidence to excel in their careers, ensuring they are better prepared to meet the demands of this rewarding field. We've been lucky enough to build meaningful partnerships with esteemed institutions like Texas A&M and Texas Tech University to help guide the next generation of veterinarians. Through our externship programs, we invite these students into our world, allowing them to gain invaluable, hands-on experience. During their two-week stay, they become part of our team, working closely with us to explore the practical nuances of veterinary medicine. They have the chance to conduct physical examinations, assist in surgeries, and perform medical procedures, all under our careful supervision. Additionally, our involvement with Texas A&M’s mock panels offers 4th-year students a glimpse into real-world interviewing scenarios, giving them the confidence to pursue successful careers. By investing in these young professionals, we not only ensure the future of veterinary care but also strengthen the supportive community that makes our profession so special.

Participating in the FFA program has been a truly rewarding experience for us, as it allows us to give back to our community and support the next generation of agricultural and veterinary professionals. Through our involvement with schools like Magnolia High School, Magnolia West High School, The Woodlands High School, Lake Creek High School, and Klein Oak High School we've seen firsthand how career technology education, particularly in veterinary science, equips students with essential skills and hands-on experience. By collaborating with these area high schools, we help ensure students gain practical knowledge that can guide them toward becoming Certified Veterinary Assistants or pursuing agriculture majors in college. Supporting these programs not only enriches the students’ educational journeys but also strengthens the bonds within our community. We're proud to contribute to their growth and success, knowing that these young individuals are the future of our agricultural and veterinary industries. Thank you for 20 Years!

This unseen yet vital part of our practice is where our skilled team works tirelessly to enhance the well-being of each patient, making our business a beacon of compassionate care.

In particular, our ongoing partnership with the working K-9 Units in Montgomery County exemplifies our dedication to those who serve and protect. By providing complimentary wellness healthcare to these vital canine members, we ensure they remain healthy and ready to perform their critical duties everyday.
