We're now scheduling grooming appointments for Wednesday, August 19, Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22 at Simpson County Veterinary Services.

To schedule your pet's grooming appointment, please email us at [email protected] with the following information:
• Owner's name
• Pet's name, breed, and age
• Preferred appointment date
• Best phone number to reach you

Before we officially open our doors, we'd love for you to come celebrate with us at our Open House on Sunday, August 16th, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM!

Come tour our brand-new facility, meet our doctors and staff, and see what we've been working so hard to create for the pets of Simpson County and the surrounding communities. We'll have light refreshments and would love the opportunity to welcome you personally.

We are excited to announce that Simpson County Veterinary Services will officially open our doors on Monday, August 17, 2026! 🐾

Our team is looking forward to providing compassionate, high-quality care for your animals.

🏗️🐾 Renovation Update at Simpson County Veterinary Services!

The finish line is in sight! 🎉 Renovations are wrapping up, and each day brings exciting progress. Our reception computers and credit card machines are installed, furniture is slowly making its way in, and our exam room cabinets have been painted a beautiful shade of blue. 💙

The floors have received a fresh blue stain in multiple rooms, lab equipment has been installed, washer and dryers have been ordered, and we're just waiting for their arrival. Outside, the final doors for our outdoor runs are being installed, bringing us one step closer to welcoming your pets.

🏗️🐾 Renovation Update at Simpson County Veterinary Services!

We're so close to the finish line! Renovations are wrapping up, the building is being deep cleaned, and paint touch-ups are continuing throughout the clinic.

Outdoor runs are being installed, and final decisions are being made on medicines and equipment to ensure we're ready to provide the best care possible.

We’re excited to share that we now have a phone number, office phones, and internet installed—another big step toward opening our doors! 📞💻

Happy Father's Day to all the incredible dads—whether you're raising children, caring for beloved pets, or both. The love, guidance, patience, and protection you provide help shape the lives of those who depend on you every day.

Today, we celebrate the fathers who cheer from the sidelines, offer a comforting hand, take the family dog for a walk, and make every member of the family feel loved.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest veterinarian, Dr. Savannah Smith.

Dr. Savannah Smith is originally from Laurel, MS. She graduated from Northeast Jones High School in 2017. She attended William Carey University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.

Dr. Savannah has a particular interest in wellness, preventive care, and nutrition. She also has an interest in physical therapy and hopes to explore this more.

Dr. Savannah currently resides in Laurel with family and her three rescue dogs. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, friends and pets, and being outdoors or camping.

We are so excited to have her join our team and look forward to the compassionate care and dedication she will bring to our patients, clients, and community. 🐾✨
