Not the proudest moment… but the dog did listen. This is what it’s like owning a dog that will literally listen to every command. You tell the dog to go potty, the dog goes potty…..on the nearest object he can hike his leg on.

Sorry Karin. He took me literally.

Our CGC Prep Class is just one class away from the big day! On August 30th, we’re throwing one of the biggest CGC test parties we’ve ever had — with over 20 amazing dog-and-handler teams ready to put their skills to the test.

From focused heeling to rock-solid stays, these teams have been putting in the work and we couldn’t be more excited to cheer them on as they go for that Canine Good Citizen title. 🏅🐕

Dipstick’s got a brand-new move… ROLLOVER! 🐾🎉

Lately, I’ve been on a little “rollover kick,” teaching it to a bunch of dogs. But it hit me—I had never taught Dipstick this trick!

She’s easily my most highly trained dog, with more commands under her belt (or collar) than any of my others, and she’s incredibly biddable once she’s shown the way. But rollover? Never saw a reason for it in our day-to-day work… until now.

Turns out, it’s just plain fun. And sometimes, that’s reason enough.

So here’s to Dipstick and her new party trick—ROLL. OVER. 🙌🐶

When you get a retired Police K9 for boarding, we let them put the ole shoes back on and go for a ride! I saw fire come back to this old girls eyes. 🔥 💪
