A Note to Our Community & Valued Clients
I’d like to take a moment to address some recent feedback and clarify my commitment to your pets. Lately, there have been a few comments from people who have never used my services or had a dog groomed by me. While everyone has an opinion, I want to set the record straight for those who actually trust me with their furry family members.
Regarding the topic of shave downs vs. matting, my priority is always the dog’s health and comfort over their hairstyle. When a pet is severely matted, the only humane and safe option is to shave the coat down to prevent skin irritation and pain. While I understand the short look isn't always the desired outcome, my customers are extremely happy and understanding of this process because they know I put their pet's comfort first.
In terms of professional growth, I am a pet-quality groomer, not a show ring groomer. I take pride in my work and I am committed to learning something new every single day to improve my craft. I never claim to be perfect, but I do claim to care deeply for every animal that comes onto my table.
I focus on everyday pet grooming, my prices reflect that and are not set for show-standard expectations.
When it comes to accountability, accidents are the hardest part of this profession. Sometimes a dog moves just the wrong way at the wrong time, and during a recent groom, an injury occurred. I didn’t hide from it; I took full responsibility and paid all vet bills for which I was provided receipts. Safety is my number one goal, and I handle these rare situations with honesty and action.
To my steady, happy clients: Thank you. Your support and your pets mean the world to me. I look forward to seeing you all at your next appointment!
