Where to begin...I didn’t feel like the business-as-usual posts for several reasons. Most obviously, nothing is normal with the current state of covid, but if I’m honest, business hasn’t felt the same since we lost Toad. Which brings me to the main reason I’m writing this post - we have been holding back some news that I haven’t known how to announce for some time. Sadly, it’s time I say goodbye to Pups Who Pack. This decision has been a hard one. I’ve built my life around being the crazy dog (& dog backpack) lady and that has always been an identity I take pride in. It’s pretty incredible thinking about what the last 5 years has brought me. From Kickstarter beginnings, to shipping out orders while living in an Rv all over the country, being featured by the great Doug the Pug, Carrie Fisher’s Gary, ABC’s Splitting up Together, the Today and Tonight show, to the loss of my beloved Toad. What a ride, but beyond all of that, my favorite part truly is meeting all of you. I’ve had the great pleasure of meeting some of you in person and although most I have not, I feel like I’ve found the most wonderful group of people I could have asked for. Dog people rule. That’s what makes it so hard to say goodbye. Although I don’t know exactly where things will end up in the future, I do hope to continue to use my Instagram account () to keep up with everyone and you just never know, I can’t stay away from designing dog gear. I’m a dog lady after all. So, if you’d like a backpack, leash or collar, please do so now. I plan on donating most of my gear to local rescues who are in desperate need of items. They are all marked down on our site: pupswhopack.com
Truly, thank you for supporting what I do. Hope you’re staying safe with your loved ones during this time. ❤️ Maggie
