It has been wonderful to get back to GA and enjoy our first GHF show of the year. A good time was had by all and many goals were met. I was very proud of all of the horses and riders this weekend. We are all looking forward to a successful show season.
Kate and Dodger rode in their first ever show together and exceeded all expectations. I am so proud to be a part of their amazing journey together.
Ellie and Forte also had a successful maiden voyage. Forte is learning the dressage ropes quickly and I look forward to being a part of the bright future ahead for this pair.
Ajax and Umpire also had a very successful weekend, putting up some of their most solid scores together in the 4-3 and PSG.
A huge thank you to so many people who have been a part of the journey for these horses and riders. Will likely miss a few but very thankful for: Gabriel Armando, Fernando Marques, Fabio Gnoatto, Bob Grisel, Paige Vaden, Steve Schmidt, Holly Breaux, and everyone at our GA barn home!

Umpire and I very much enjoyed spending the season in Wellington- and are sad it was cut short! We have returned to GA to see what happens with all of the COVID craziness. I look forward to reconnecting with GA friends and clients. Umpire was definitely glad to see all the GA green grass!

Well we have been back from FL for over a week, but of course just now getting around to updating. It was a great week. The horses and riders all worked hard and everyone had success in the ring. Lexie and Tux made their debut and you would never know they were both first timers! Paige and Nova were solid, consistent, and made fantastic progress. Umpire probably prefers the CDI barn but was a trooper. We also enjoyed getting to watch some great riding during the Friday night freestyle! It is always great to be in Wellington and getting to see so many friends is definitely the best part- we definitely did not take enough pictures- but here are a few!

February 9th we enjoyed a chilly but fun show at Poplar Place! Lexie and Dude made their dressage debut, taking 2nd in Intro B and winning Intro C! Paige and Nova took 2nd in Intro C and 3rd in Training-1 with a 63%! Ellie and Umpire took 3rd in Training-3 and 2nd in 1-1! Arthur was the star of the day winning both 1-1 and 1-3! All of the horses and riders worked hard and it was a fun way to kick off the show season! We are working hard(in the rain 🙄) to prepare to head to Wellington on March 10th! Casper finally arrived in GA on 2/1! We are all so glad that he was able to get healthy enough to make the journey and that he seems to be settling in well and gaining strength each day! We have a huge group of people to thank for getting Casper to this point! Gabriel and Suzy Armando, Alex and Marcela Burrsens (and their wonderful business The Red Barn), Laura Mitchell, and Dana Fiore! Also the biggest thanks to Dr. Heidmann and all of the amazing staff at the Palm Beach Equine Clinic! We will keep updating on Casper’s progress throughout what is going to be a long road to total recovery, but very thankful to be on this journey!

2018 was not the year of social media, but we are vowing to do better this year! 2019 has already been a roller coaster ride as the newest member of the Ajax Sugier team, a beautiful 3 year stallion from Argentina arrived on 1/7, but got sick in quarantine. Thankfully the expert staff at the Palm Beach Equine Clinic were about to save him(several other horses that contracted the same bacterial infection in quarantine did not make it). We are looking forward to finally brining Casper to GA at the end of the month. We have also been battling cold, wind, and rain in preparation for kicking off our show season at poplar place on Feb 9th! Looking forward to reconnecting with with all our horse show buds in the coming weeks!

It was an absolute pleasure to have Gabriel Armando at the farm for 2 days of intense, hot, and fun lessons! All of the horses and riders learned a great deal- and we look forward to having him back again very soon! Hoping to organize another clinic in the coming months and should have spots for a few more riders, so stay tuned for updates if you might be interested in riding with Gabriel!
