DCC Emergency Milking Crew Needed ASAP!

From Dr. Nigel Cook -

As of today the student milking crew is now non-operational at the Dairy Cattle Center, (Located next to the Vet school). We have to put together a plan to milk cows in the afternoon for the rest of the semester or send the cows back to Arlington and shut everything down again. Commitment would be ~2-3 2hr shifts per week (milking ~36 cows from 4:30pm-6:30pm). We will be creating milking teams of SVM students to work only in those groups to minimize risk. Commitment will be up to Thanksgiving and possibly beyond that.

An email was sent out to everyone currently on the Bovine Club list. If you did not receive this email but would like more information, email us ( [email protected] ).

Please put your name down by Friday (9/11) at NOON if you would like to help.
