This guy has definitely healed up enough to take with us to the Cleveland Reptile Show & Sale with us Sunday. Doors open 9am and close 3pm at The Medina Fairgrounds. He will be available to anyone who will tub him for a little while longer. If he doesn't go that day. I will list him on the website Sunday evening.

Look at the difference in just 4 weeks!! What a Glow Up!! He may be able to be listed by the end of the week because his injury is almost completely healed up. His gills fluffed up so much and his skin looks so much better. He is really a pretty boy. He is a nice weight now too!!. I can't tell exactly what he is besides Leucy, but he does have a cranial glow and solid black eyerings. So My guess is he is an Axanthic Leucy, maybe even a Mel Axanthic Leucy. It's possible even Hypomelanstic. You never know. But he is a pretty boy!!

By tomorrow, we have officially had these surrenders here for 4 weeks. They are doing fantastic and I think I am ready to put the female on my website to go to her forever loving home. The male still needs a little more time. His injury is almost all healed up though and if it wasn't for that, he would be ready too. I at least know that the female was bred by us here and was purchased as a juvenile 2022. So she is about 3 years old. The male is about the same age, but I don't know where he came from. I just know he is an Axanthic Leucy, possibly a Mel Axanthic Leucy. He looks very similar to some others we have raised here and very well could be, but I have no way of knowing. I will list the female tonight.

Featuring this gorgeous Holdback Release from our "Blank Canvas" and "Cookie Crumbs". This clutch had some amazing polygenes that passed down to all of the Leucy offspring. This one is a Melanoid Leucy, but that not all!! 😱 It is very dark Pigmented and has this cool swilling pattern that all its leucy siblings all seem to have gotten as well! I have never seen an entire clutch show the same polygenes before, but this one has, besides all the White Albino varieties. Their mother "Blank Canvas" is a White Albino, but I believe this trait came from her. White is the genetic name for Leucy. The Albino part just covered that up for her. It is possible its White Albino siblings I also have available, could pass that trait down if bred properly!! This adorable girl is from our "Rose Gold" and "Khaki" pairing almost a year and a half ago. She is a hypo Leucy. When she was small she had a lot of dark pigment I was hoping would hold, however I think due to her also being hypo it faded away! But, she is so adorable and I had to snap this picture of her being so cute!! 💕

I forgot to post these pictures on Sunday. But these are the surrenders I have been rehabbing for the past 3 weeks! They are doing so well. I may have found a home for the female, however if that falls through she will become available. She has been doing great. I can see her getting even fluffier gills in her new home as well and continuing to put weight in. She looks so much better already🥰. The Male has made even bigger changes. He was very slim when he arrived and his filaments on his gills were almost gone, not to mention he was transported with her and she nipped his back leg on the way. Just an FYI.. Males and females should not be housed together. His leg has already healed so much, but I want to see it get more skin over the wound that has been healing before I let him go next to his forever home. 💕

This little cutie always begs!! She's definitely growing on me. She is probably going to stay here. We shall see. I can still slightly see more yellow on her side with the iridophore bursts. Not at first glance anymore though. I am looking forward to watching her grow. 🥰

"Dalmatian Creation" clutch!! This clutch is so absolutely stunning!! I may have a hard time identifying those that are Axanthic Copper blends to the Axanthic Hypomelanstic blends. I will try my best though! Soon I will separate them into different blends. That will take me most of the day under a microscope!! 🔬 With some of these it's definitely more obvious than others. It will be a matter of seeing Grey/Dull black vs Redish/Brownish. Unfortunately the colors can look very similar. I will use my art skills for this!! The years of art school pays off for this kind of stuff!!
