Tater’s Bow Ties and More are handmade accessories for pets. I am starting with bow ties and will add more items soon.

Tater Tot is a 2 1/2 month old mini dachshund that has been sick 2 times. The first time he went to the emergency vet and the next day he was better. We thought he ate something that he wasn’t supposed to. 15 days later the same thing happened. He couldn’t walk or hold himself up. We took him the emergency vet again, but this time he didn’t get better. That was on a Friday, and Saturday morning he was the same. If you have a pet, you know emergency vet care is expensive!! We were going to wait until Monday to take him to see his regular vet and hope and pray that he would make it. My sister-in-law told us to take him to the emergency vet in Huntsville to get a second opinion, and we told her we couldn’t. She said she would pay for it to take him, so we did. They gave him 4 different medicines to treat possible meningitis or distemper. While we were waiting my husband had the idea to give a portion of the proceeds to help other families be able to give their pets vet care and Tater’s Mission was born.

20% of all sales will go to help other pets get the care they need!
