After years of rescuing, fostering, and loving countless animals, Sung Village Animal Rescue will be closing our doors at the end of 2025. Until then, we will be closed for new intakes as we focus on providing the very best care and placement for the animals already in our rescue.

This decision did not come lightly. Sung Village began as a small, at-home effort to give abandoned, surrendered, and medically fragile animals a safe place to heal and thrive. Over time, it became a community of rescuers, fosters, donors, and supporters who believed in second chances. Together, we’ve changed lives.

As we begin this final chapter, our focus will remain on ensuring every current animal finds a loving, permanent home. We deeply appreciate everyone who has donated, adopted, and shared our mission along the way. Your compassion has made Sung Village possible. 💛

The Fresno Zombie Society is also going to be there!

Registration is at 8am and the walk starts at 9am!

Come out for some fun and support animal rescues and local businesses!

I was asked to help these 3 sweet chihuahua mixes need foster to adopt! Our rescue partner needs us more than ever. They have had 3 of their shots and upcoming appointment for neuter soon. Please reach out asap so we can help these babies get to their forever homes!

This past Sunday, we received this senior girl (10years old) from orange county as an owner surrender. Her first owner went into a care facility and could not take her. Another women took her in but could no longer care for either. This little girl smells like yeast, has dry eyes, red itchy skin, and hair loss. She may have allergies to food or environment. She was grumpy beause she was not feeling well. She is adjusting well considering. She is being treated with antibiotics, medicated baths, eye drops, and allergy medication. We have soft spot for these cases that are similar to Candy’s and Halo’s ❤️ Welcome Tashi.

Meet Candy 🍭🐾

Last month, a day before we were supposed to meet Candy, I had to let my dog Rylie go over the rainbow bridge. Candy’s rescue is dedicated to Rylie.

This sweet 4-year-old Shih Tzu was recently surrendered by her owner, who shared that balancing college, two jobs, and the financial strain of ongoing medical care became too overwhelming.

Candy has a long list of medical needs, including epilepsy, yeast/allergy skin issues, ear infection and kidney stones. The owners believed that the previous owner knew of her epilepsy but did not disclose it, leaving them unprepared for the challenges ahead.

Now, Candy is now getting the care she needs. 💕 She deserves stability, healing, and eventually a forever home that can meet her medical needs and shower her with love.

Candy’s initial medical care costs were sponsored by Becky Claypool and her family ❤️ A big thank you to their generous donation! Candy’s medical care, medications, and medicated diet will be lifelong. You can help Candy by donating toward her monthly expenses or by simply sharing her story. Together, we can make sure Candy’s next chapter is filled with love and care.

Bryan is 7 year old English Bulldog who was surrendered to us back in July. His family was unable to keep him when they moved into an apartment where no dogs were allowed. Bryan is a wonderful dog who gets along with everyone! Here are some things his family has said about him “He is very loving and playful. He loves attention and loves car rides. He tries to always get into the car to ride around, when in the car he will let you know when he is ready to go. He listens to commands like stop, sit, down, etc. He is very social. Does not dig and listens well.”

After a weekend visit, Autumn was adopted by the most wonderful family! Autumn took to the family very quickly! Autumn had been with us for over a year! She was a bottle baby that never left. We had several interests but no follow through…until this week! We are so happy for Autumn and her new family who already love her so much!
