🚨🚨🚨FOSTER NEEDED🚨🚨🚨
This guy was found yesterday. We are hoping to find a foster for him so that he can enter our adoption program after his stray hold. He is possibly 2 years old and may be a fast move. He gets along qorh orher dogs and has not shown agression to cats. We would like to have a one month commitment from someone. Please message us if interested in foatering. All supplies needed will be provided.

FOSTER NEEDED ASAP!!!!
These babies were dumped on the side of the road in a crate in Northfork. Luckily a good Samaritan stopped to check the crate and sure enough these guys were locked it. Thankfully for them this very kind man took them to his shop and reached out to us for help. We are currently short on fosters and we cannot take these guys in unless we secure placement. We are foster based organization and have no facility to house animals in. All supplies will be covered by FMAS. Even if you are only able to short term foster these little babies please reach out. We would like to send a huge thank you to the man who saved these little guys, he definitely saved their lives!!!!

If anyone is able to foster these 3 little cuties please contact our cat program coordinator Diana as soon as possible so we can arrange a pick up time. Her number is 559-975-5370.

🎉🐾 Two more happy endings! 🐾🎉

We’re so excited to share that Brownie and Patches have both been adopted! ❤️🏡

There’s nothing better than watching one of our animals leave an adoption event with a family of their very own, and this weekend TWO of them got to do just that. 🥹

Congratulations, Brownie and Patches! We wish you both a lifetime of love, snuggles, adventures, and being completely spoiled by your new families. ❤️🐶

And thank you to everyone who continues to adopt, share our posts, and help our animals find their way home.

🐾❤️ This Saturday is all about finding homes!

FMAS will be at two adoption events this weekend as part of Adopt Joy and Clear the Shelters! 🏡🐶🐱

If you’ve been thinking about adding a new member to your family, come meet some of our wonderful adoptable animals. They’re ready for homes, families, couches, adventures and all the love that comes with finally having a place to call their own. ❤️

We’ll be at PetSmart locations in San Carlos and San Mateo. Check the flyers for times and locations, and please share to help us reach as many potential adopters as possible!

Update: Clinic is Full for both days!

Friends of Madera Animal Shelter would like to honor and remember Linda Sitterding, a lifelong Madera resident whose kindness and compassion made a lasting impact on our community.

Linda cared deeply for both people and animals. She understood how important spaying and neutering pets is in reducing animal suffering, easing the burden on families, and helping our community as a whole. Throughout her life, she helped many Madera residents alter their pets, often providing support wherever it was needed.

As part of her legacy, Linda made a generous bequest to Friends of Madera Animal Shelter to continue helping Madera County residents with spay and neuter assistance.

We are honored that Linda chose FMAS to help carry forward this important work. The Linda Sitterding Spay-Neuter Fund will continue supporting Madera County residents who need financial assistance to alter their pets.

Linda’s compassion will continue to make a difference for animals and families in our community for years to come. We are truly grateful. ❤️
