We our saddened to hear the loss of the Legendary Cowboy & Veterinarian Dr. Ed LeTourneau
His loss will be felt by so many people.
Doc was incredibly special to Best Way not because he had been a long time friend and client... but because he was our first customer 20 years ago. He believed in these two young kids that wanted to make a positive change in how horses & other livestock were treated at the end of their life. To offer a prompt & caring service to the central valley. He recommended us to all his clients and colleagues. With this the business began to grow to what it is today. We are incredibly thankful & truly believe without Docs faith in us none of this would have been possible.
We our sending love, thoughts and prayers to Frankie and his family in this difficult time.

She wasn’t just a horse. She was family to a neighborhood. For fourteen years, Jenny — a white mare from Frankfurt — walked the streets alone every morning. Her elderly owner could no longer ride her, but Jenny didn’t need a guide. She knew every turn by heart.

Locals welcomed her like a neighbor. Children waved, shopkeepers paused, and even police officers smiled as she passed by. Around her neck hung a simple sign:
“My name is Jenny. I’m just taking a walk. Thank you."

Jenny became more than just a familiar face — she became a symbol of trust, freedom, and the quiet bond between animals and people.

This week, Jenny passed away at the age of 26 after battling cancer 💔. But what she left behind is more than footprints on the sidewalk. She left a feeling. A reminder that even one animal, walking quietly through a city, can bring people together, soften hearts, and become a legend

2020 has definitely been one of the most challenging but also been the most rewarding years to date. Best Way was orginally started to help horse owners at their most heartbreaking time. We aimed to make this difficult time a little bit easier.

I am now happy to announce we have expanded! We are now helping our clients with their small animals after they cross the rainbow bridge. We now offer transportation for cremation as well as Disposal.

As I know everyone is aware the coronavirus is shutting down &/or limiting businesses during this pandemic. I wanted to reach out to all of our customers to let them know we are still up and running. We are going to be enforcing some new safety rules to help protect both our drivers and customers.

Till the pandemic has blown over & the virus is under control we will NOT be expecting CASH OR CHECKS. We are doing this to help protect/ limit contact between driver and customers. We will only be accepting Cards paid by Phone or payments online through Zelle.

We will continue to follow the guidance recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other federal, state and local agencies to help ensure the health and safety of our Driver's and Client's. For up-to-date information about coronavirus, we recommend visiting trusted sources, such as the CDC and the World Health Organization.

I wanted to Thank everyone who has reached out to me the last couple weeks to see how we are handling the changes due to the new regulations. I want to insure everyone that everything is fine & we are adapting! We are still picking both large/small livestock & offering transportation.
We are looking for another driver as we would like to expand our work area to help more people.

* MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE PULLING & BACKING A TRAILER
* MUST BE A HARD WORKER
* MUST HAVE A WARM & OUT GOING PERSONALITY
* WOULD PREFER SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE WITH HORSES
This job is open to both men or women. The job pays per pick up. Common work hours are 8am to 5pm. Can be subject to change per job location.
