THEY ALL GET ALONG WITH OTHER DOGS, BUT NONE OF THEM CAN GET A HUMAN TO TAKE THEM HOME. 😭🐾

Seriously, y’all. At this point, we’re starting to think the dogs need to start filling out adoption applications for PEOPLE.

THE SADDEST THING ABOUT BIG BOY IS THAT HE HAS EVERY REASON TO HATE PEOPLE. BUT HE DOESN’T.

For 5½ years, this sweet boy’s world was confined to a bedroom.

Four walls. A closed door. And a life that no dog should ever have to live.

We don’t know everything that happened behind that door. We don’t know what he witnessed, what he endured, or all the circumstances that led to his owner’s arrest and imprisonment.

And maybe that’s what makes looking into his eyes so heartbreaking. He can’t tell us.

When his owner went to jail, Big Boy ended up in a high-kill shelter.

And after 5½ years of a life he never chose, he was just HOURS away from losing the only thing he had left.

His life.

We got him out in time.

But here’s what absolutely destroys us.

Big Boy is STILL one of the most loving, gentle, forgiving souls you could ever meet.

He doesn’t shy away from love. He doesn’t hold a grudge. He doesn’t seem to know that life has been terribly unfair to him.

He just looks at you with those big brown eyes, hoping you’ll stay a little longer.

And when you walk away, he stays behind.

Waiting.

How do you explain to a dog who has already lost so much that nobody has chosen him yet? 😭

He’s 5½ years old & dog friendly. He’s calm, laid-back, past the puppy nonsense, and perfectly happy just being near his person.

He’s not asking for adventures around the world.

He’s asking for a place in yours.

A couch. A warm bed. A hand that reaches down to love him. Someone who calls him their boy.

For once in his life, we want Big Boy to be somebody’s EVERYTHING.

Somebody’s baby. Somebody’s best friend. Somebody’s reason to hurry home.

We saved Big Boy from dying.

But somebody out there still needs to show him what it means to LIVE.

And we are begging that person to find him before winter.

Because the thought of this dog spending another cold season waiting for a home, after everything he’s already been through, is almost unbearable.

SCOOTER IS LOOKING FOR A HOME. PREFERABLY INSIDE SOMEONE’S RE**UM. 💀🤣

We’re not sure what happened in Scooter’s previous life, but apparently somebody left him alone for 11 minutes in 2019 and HE HASN’T BEEN RIGHT SINCE.

Scooter is 8 years old, dog friendly, sweet as can be, and the emotional stability of a woman whose husband just said, "Calm down.”

THIS MAN DOESN’T FOLLOW YOU AROUND. HE ESCORTS YOU LIKE YOU’RE THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

Going to the bathroom? Scooter’s coming.

Taking a shower? Scooter’s conducting surveillance.

Walking to the refrigerator?

WHERE ARE WE GOING? ARE WE MOVING? DO I NEED MY SHOTS RECORDS?!

Scooter doesn’t want to be your shadow. HE WANTS TO BE A NONSURGICALLY REMOVABLE ORGAN.

He does have separation anxiety, so we’re looking for someone who’s home most of the day. He’ll also need to be crated when left alone.

He’s not an ankle swarmer. He’s just a loving little gentleman who believes two people should never be separated by more than the thickness of a piece of deli ham.

PLEASE ADOPT SCOOTER BEFORE HE FIGURES OUT HOW TO CRAWL INTO SOMEBODY’S PANTS AND GO TO WORK WITH THEM.

WE HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO SAY.

Adoptions are moving slower than a sloth on a muscle relaxer, and we’ve officially run out of ways to convince people to adopt these dogs.

We’ve tried funny. We’ve tried sad. We’ve tried cute. We’ve practically written these dogs love letters, dating profiles, and character references.

At this point, we’re just one post away from putting on a bikini and spinning a sign on the corner.

So effective immediately, we’re shutting up and posting pictures.

That’s it. Just pictures.

No clever captions. No emotional speeches. No more trying to convince y’all that these dogs are wonderful.

JUST LOOK AT THE DANG DOGS. 😂

If this doesn’t work, next week we’re posting pictures of the volunteers & dogs crying in the parking lot.

🐾❤️ THE BEST NEWS EVER… WESLEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! ❤️🐾

From a tiny little fighter with a big belly and an even bigger will to live… to a happy, healthy, loved little boy with a family of his very own! 🥹💙

If you’ve followed Wesley’s journey, you know just how special this moment is. This sweet boy had a rough start, but he never let it slow him down. He fought through every obstacle, found his voice (and boy, did he find it! 😂), perfected his nose boops, and stole the hearts of everyone along the way.

And now… WESLEY HAS HIS FOREVER HOME!!! 🏡❤️

No more wondering what his future holds. No more waiting for his happily ever after. His next chapter is filled with love, snuggles, and a family to call his own.

To everyone who cheered him on, prayed for him, donated, and followed his journey — THANK YOU! You were all part of his story.
