Howdy, folks!

I train humans to understand their dogs in central Oklahoma. My specialties are in animal behavior recognition, canine enrichment, and urban manners training. I also offer socialization training and dog walking services!

Exercise and socialization are crucial to a dog's overall well-being. The lack of such fulfillment is often the root cause of our least favorite behaviors. Whatever your situation, it can be hard to make time to take your dogs out.

Meeting your pets needs just got a lot easier. The process is simple. Send me a message to schedule your first service. I will arrive at your home to pick up and take your fur baby hiking or to the dog park. While in my care, your dog will receive light training to perfect skills like appropriate play and trail etiquette.

Tuck is too respectful of small animals to really go after the rats. Very pleased with his manners and gentle nature. Such a kind heart! Our instructor immediately fell in love with him. He's really one of a kind.

Let's talk about off leash manners.

I don't expect absolute focus out of my dogs for the duration of our adventures.

Read that again, and let's talk about it.

Dogs are sensory driven creatures. They experience the world through a number of senses, including but not limited to sight, smell, and hearing. These three basic functions are integral to the dog's sense of security. Especially away from home.

While I do ask for active cooperation, I do not expect my dogs to defy their nature. They can still be active participants while maintaining awareness of their environment. My personal dog, Tuck, is a great example. He is incredibly responsive, and heeds to my requests. You will still see him looking around, you will still see him sniffing, you will still watch noises catch his attention. Never once does this interfere with his ability to be safe off leash.

It's time to stop asking your DOGS not to be dogs.
