🐶 Day: Saturday, July 18th

🐩 Time: 10am-12pm

🗺️ 523 Kennebec Rd, Machias (2.5 miles from the intersection of Rt 1 and Kennebec Rd. Look for a red building on the right).

🐕 No appointment necessary! Just show up at the salon!

🐱 Cost: $13

🐈 Who is welcome: Everyone! We trim all kinds of pet nails. Cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, rabbits. No humans or hooved animals please 😉

🚙 🚗 🛻 Please wait with your pet in your vehicle and we will wave you in when it’s your turn.

🌊 We hold a Saturday clinic approximately once a month. This clinic doesn’t replace the nail trim appointments scheduled during the week. We will still be making those!

Update: With relieved hearts, we can announce that the best possible outcome has happened. Luna and Milo have found a wonderful home, TOGETHER. Thank you to everyone who shared and helped. These two are going to continue to be very well loved ❤️

🏡 Foster or Adoptive Homes Needed for Luna & Milo ❤️

Our hearts are heavy as we search for loving homes for Luna and Milo.

Last year, they lost one of their beloved owners. Tragically, their remaining owner has now passed away unexpectedly, leaving these two wonderful companions without a family.

🐩 Luna is a sweet, gentle 9.5-year-old Standard Poodle who loves people and has so much affection to give.

🐈 Milo is a 14-year-old tabby with an impressive purr and a calm, loving personality.

Both are healthy and up to date on veterinary care.

If you’re interested in fostering or adopting, or know someone who might be, please reach out. Even sharing this post could help these two find the happy ending they deserve. ❤️

🐾 WE’RE HIRING! DOG GROOMING BATHER/ASSISTANT 🛁

Nauti Dog Salon is looking for an energetic, reliable animal lover to join our team as an Entry-Level Dog Bather and Grooming Assistant!

Do you love dogs, work hard, and keep a sense of humor when things get messy? This might be the perfect job for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

🐶 Bathing dogs of all breeds up to 100lbs
💨 Drying and brushing coats
🧼 Cleaning tubs, kennels, and grooming areas
🐾 Assisting groomers throughout the day
😊 Providing excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Must be able to lift 50 lbs
✔️ Have a strong back and a strong stomach
✔ Comfortable standing for long periods
✔ Not afraid of barking dogs, wet clothes, or dog hair everywhere. And we mean EVERYWHERE. It will follow you home and live with you 😆
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔ Strong work ethic and love for animals

A Few Things to Know:
• You’ll get wet.
• You’ll get hairy.
• You’ll occasionally clean up things you’d rather not talk about. But know that we will definitely be talking about it 🤣
• You’ll also spend your days surrounded by dogs and a great team.

No professional grooming experience required—we’re happy to train the right person!

This will be a seasonal, 25-32hr/wk position as of now, with the potential to become year round 🤞 Hours will vary, Monday-Friday. No weekends!

🌟 Hi Friends! 🌟

🥳 To put all of the concerns to rest, we want to announce that Nauti Dog will NOT be closing! 🎉

Another business out of Ohio, with the same name, is closing and it has caused some confusion.

🐶 We will continue to serve the BEST clients and dogs in Maine, are happy to take on new clients, and look forward to a fun and busy summer with you all!
