Some of you may have wondered why a Rottweiler is at the heart of our logo and so much of our advertising.

The truth is… it’s not just a design. It’s a legacy.

At Passion for Pets, we stand by our motto:
“Giant to small, we care for them all.”
And we mean that with everything in us. We don’t discriminate—by breed, behavior, anxiety, or past history. Every dog deserves a chance to be understood, to be cared for, and to be loved.

Our logo was inspired by our girl, Zoe—our “Pumpkin Patch.”
She was with us from the very beginning. She helped build this business, not just by being there, but by showing everyone exactly what we stand for.

Rottweilers are often misunderstood. People see their size, hear their bark, and make assumptions. Zoe faced that her whole life. People would feel intimidated just looking at her… but if they gave her a chance, they’d quickly see the truth.

All she ever wanted was a tennis ball and a friend.
And the moment you threw that ball, she was yours forever.

She was the sweetest soul. A gentle giant. A best friend to so many dogs and people who walked through our doors. She didn’t just exist in our business—she shaped it.

To us, she wasn’t “just a dog.”
She was one of our kids.

When we lost her on May 16, 2024, to cancer… everything changed.
It still doesn’t feel real. It still hurts just as deeply. Even our other dogs felt her absence—she was their mother figure, their leader, the calm in the chaos.

Since she’s been gone, things haven’t felt the same. We’ve had to learn how to find our footing again without her. And we’re still learning.

But one thing will never change—her impact.

Zoe is the reason we believe so strongly in giving every dog a chance.
She is the reason we look beyond appearances.
She is the reason we stand so firmly behind what we do.

Her legacy will live on in every dog we welcome, every second chance we give, and every life we touch.

We miss you more than words could ever explain, Pumpkin Patch.
You will always be the heart of Passion for Pets. 🐾💚

❤️At Passion for Pets, we do things a little differently, and that’s intentional.

Our focus is not speed or volume. Our focus is your pet’s comfort, trust, and emotional well being.

Some pets come to us anxious, fearful, or easily overwhelmed. Instead of pushing them through a process, we slow down. We take breaks when needed. We adjust to their pace. We use patience, gentle handling, and awareness of their stress signals every step of the way.

This means appointments may take longer, and every visit is approached with care over convenience.

We believe grooming and pet care should never feel rushed or stressful for the animal. It should feel safe.

If that’s the kind of environment you want for your pet, we would truly love to work with you.

‼️‼️‼️‼️Important Schedule Update‼️‼️‼️‼️

This morning, my wife’s brother passed away. Our family is grieving a very heavy loss, and we need time to process and be together.

Because of this, all upcoming appointments will need to be rescheduled. I will begin scheduling again for dates after March 3rd. If you had a February appointment, I will still honor the 50% off promotion when we rebook.

I don’t have perfect words right now. We are heartbroken, and we’re taking things day by day. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.

I will reach out to everyone individually as soon as I’m able.
