We’d like to give a warm welcome to our newest volunteer, Ms. Kayleigh! 🐾💙

We are so grateful for every volunteer who takes time out of their day to help care for the animals at our shelter. Whether it’s cleaning, walking dogs, spending time with cats, or simply giving love and attention, it truly makes a difference in their lives. Our animals absolutely love their walks and one-on-one time with their human friends!

We always focus on the “perfect” dogs — the outgoing, confident, easy ones. But what about the shy and fearful dogs? The ones hiding in the corner, too scared to trust, too overwhelmed to show who they truly are. 💔

Those dogs deserve love too.
They deserve patience.
They deserve a chance to decompress and feel safe.

Not every dog walks into a shelter wagging their tail and begging for attention. Some come in carrying trauma, neglect, fear, and survival instincts. That does not make them unworthy of life.

Sometimes the most fearful dogs become the most loyal once someone finally shows them kindness. 🐾

Meet Mason and Duke. These two need a rescue, sanctuary, foster, or experienced home willing to see past their fear and give them the opportunity they deserve.
