Waffles' healthy, big, 4 day old buckling died today. I am clueless as to why. He was thriving as a single kid, and his Alpine mom had plenty of milk. No injuries, no signs of any sickness...other than a sloshy full belly. Not bloat, just full of Milk?? He did not get the CDT passive transfer from Mom since I didn't know she was due until a few days before. Could he have over eaten on Mom's surplus supply???

Ok, so Gabby decided her kids needed to come before Juliettes's and surprised me this afternoon with triplets (although one was stillborn). A boy and a girl, they are tiny and although the girl has figured out nursing with no problem, the little boy is being quite stubborn about it.

Gabby is due in 2 days...
