Our mission is to cultivate top-quality organic produce sustainably, fostering community learning and well-being through regenerative urban agriculture. As stewards of the land, we aim to bridge connections that support local food systems, promote health, economic growth, and creativity, while reducing our carbon footprint. Through education, we encourage good stewardship, homesteading skills, and a love of fresh ingredients. We envision a thriving agrarian cultural space where sustainable and regenerative farming practices restore land and lives. By integrating urban farming, education, arts, and hospitality, we create elegant spaces for community connection and learning. Our concept of 'cultural ag' is to engage in sustainable farming practices while exploring food and drink as an art form, and cultivating relationships with artists, photographers, musicians and visitors in a spirit of sharing and collaboration. At Willowthorne, agriculturalists, chefs, and artists can experiment in their medium, collaborating with each other and with visitors, blurring the boundaries between master and guest; between food, drink and art. Our hospitality initiatives are currently focused on hosting private events, including health, wellness, meditation and yoga classes, group camping retreats and intimate gatherings. We also facilitate educational opportunities, with outreach to schools and corporate groups, with lectures and classes available for a rental fee.
