Hello there! Starting this month, we would like to start putting the spotlight on each of our diverse cast of employees.

March’s highlighted staff member is one of our licensed technicians, Faith! Faith has been in the veterinary field since 2018 when she joined as a reception lead-- after attending Pima in 2022 and obtaining her license, she has been working as a technician ever since.

Outside of Alderwood, Faith enjoys hiking, photography, and giving back to her community. Faith is a bit of a world traveler-- did you know she once backpacked completely solo through Europe and Great Britain? We think that’s amazing! Talk about a fantastic experience! (And she’s taken *two* trips like this, the second one took her through the Middle East, Australia and Africa)

One day she says she would like to take a road-trip along the Pan-American HWY all the way down through South America-- in these colder months, heading further south sounds like a good plan to us.

We’re so grateful to have Faith here at the hospital, thank you for all of your hard work and your wonderful stories.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the fires in California. A number of our staff have friends and family who have been evacuated and lost their homes, and we have all been anxiously watching the news.

It is a sobering reminder that disaster can strike at anytime and with very little warning. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with what to have packed for your pets in case of an emergency. Go bags can take some work to assemble, but they offer peace of mind and expediency when both are in high demand.
