Our spaniels also enjoyed an outstanding season, with two new Field Trial Champions added to our team.
FTCH Riverview Farm Briar Alice, handled by Simon Dixon, became a FTCH after winning 1st place at an Open Trial, qualifying her for the Spaniel Championship. She went on to finish 2nd at the Royal Kennel Club 95th Championship – Field Trial Stake for Cocker Spaniels, held at Emblehope & Burngrange Estate.
FTCH Riverview Farm Briar Billy, handled by Ian Openshaw, made history as the first Cocker Spaniel bred in the USA to gain FTCH status in the UK. Billy won the Cambridge Open Cocker Stake, qualifying him for the championship, and concluded the RKC 95th Championship with a well-earned DOM.
Altogether, we have four new FTCHs in our kennel, clearly demonstrating the strength and direction of our breeding. A huge thank you to our trainers!
