Healthy and fresh food is just as important to your pet as it is to you. Ask me more about diet alterations and modifications to create variety and a well rounded diet. Dogs appreciate variety as much as we do! It is also

important to use products on our pets hair, fur and skin that are sourced with trusted ingredients. It is a simple process to create a healthy, inexpensive regimen to keep your pet/s looking his or her best while feeling his or her best. Ask me, it's a personal passion. This is not a cookie cutter service. I have taken care of large estates as well as small homes. I am looking to
create lasting relationships with my clients. I care deeply about each animal and each home that I care for. I specialize in timid or older animals and I am happy to provide one on one care in your home. I look forward to meeting you and your animals. I have worked with loveable and timid rescues as well as a Wheaten Terrier named Ghilley that was in Wesminster. Ask me, it's a fun story!

Severe arthritis and mobility loss are common reasons owners choose euthanasia when a dog’s pain is unmanageable. Muscle atrophy, loss of muscle from aging, inactivity, or illness, worsens mobility and quality of life.
A new peer-reviewed study found about 42% of gut microbes can fully produce lysine, an essential amino acid dogs cannot make themselves. Lysine is vital for senior dogs, supporting muscle maintenance, protein use, and collagen for joints and connective tissue. Microbial lysine may also reduce nitrogen waste, important for dogs with kidney or liver issues and help pets with gastrointestinal disease. Deficiency is linked to muscle wasting, weight loss, and weakness.
Why gut microbes matter:
· Repetitive diets: Feeding the same food long-term can shrink microbial diversity and reduce amino-acid-producing bacteria.
· Low diversity (dysbiosis): Fewer “backup” microbes means lost lysine producers aren’t replaced.
· Aging: Seniors naturally lose gut diversity, further reducing internal lysine support.
Benefits if microbes can make lysine:
· More dietary protein is used efficiently
· Less nitrogen waste for kidney or liver patients
There are probiotics that can help:
· Lactobacillus reuteri: Supports amino acid metabolism, gut barrier function, and lysine uptake.
· Bacillus subtilis BS50: Helps release lysine from dietary protein, making lower-protein diets more effective.

Meet Delilah — a soulful 3-year-old mastiff/bulldog mix with a heart as big as her head. She was left to fend for herself on the streets after being bred one too many times, but you’d never know it by the way she cuddles. She smells like lanolin and love—rich, earthy, and a little sweet, like warm wool and baby skin.

City life and apartment buildings aren’t her thing (yet), but she’s learning fast. Brave girl. Quietly determined. And absolutely irresistible.

Rosie was the hostess with the mostest in her dreamy beachy home tucked out in the woods. We chased fireflies, spotted hawks, bunnies, and a whole family of turkeys. The humans had lobster and she crunched cod skin like a queen. She missed her family something awful, but once she realized she had a new pal, she came around pretty quick. Can’t wait for our next hang, little ginger friend.
