This little beauty came in today with her big dog-sister, Poppy, and her parents for her first visit since being adopted!

Please meet Peggy, a 6-month-old domestic medium-haired gal. The slight bend in her front right paw is due to a radial nerve injury she had prior to her adoption. However, fear not - this gal moves around and is still just as happy as a six-month-old kitty can be.

Welcome to the pack, Peggy! You’ve hit the jackpot with your new cat-parents.

Good morning!

We hope everyone is having a great start to the week. This is just a brief announcement to share that we will only be open Monday through Thursday this week from 8:00AM- 5:00PM and will be closed Friday, October 24, 2025, for work to be done at the animal hospital.

We will be sure to remind everyone closer to the date, but please be sure to double-check all prescriptions to ensure that you have enough to get through the weekend.

It wouldn’t be October if we didn't share of our beautiful black cat patients!

Please, everyone, say hello to Shadow. Shadow came in this week with his cat mom, Val, for his annual wellness examination with Dr. Kathy Tamburello.

Shadow is a 2-year-old long-haired sweetheart who was gracious enough to come and say hello to me after receiving his vaccine.

This majestic gal is a purebred Newfoundland, and will be turning ten years old next month!

We love a patient who smiles AND waves for the camera, too!

As we get closer to stick season, and with some cold rain coming in this morning, it felt like a perfect time to give a shout-out to the cutest little sweater season mascot.

Carson, a 1 1/2-year-old Maltese/toy poodle mix, came in for some blood work. Sporting a cozy number, here he is being lovingly held by Dr. Shawntel Sechrist in our treatment area.

We have another gorgeous Super Senior to celebrate on this fantastic Tuesday!

Please meet Molly, who came in last week with her dog-mom Margaret. Molly is a 13-year-old Irish Setter who has been with her parents since she was a puppy.

With a wagging tail, Molly greeted me and happily accepted some treats while I chatted with her dog-mom and gave Molly some pets. She looks pretty regal, if you ask me!

Hunters may mistake our girl for a deer because of her lighter coloring, so we’ve got her in orange to help make sure she is safe!

Don't get caught off guard, and make sure your pets (no matter their coloring) are wearing bright colors.
