Another filly that has made leaps and bounds in our training program!

She is a true testimate to our program and the results you get when you take your time & do things right.
She has made a complete 180 in her mindset and demeanor. Instead of reacting to scary things she stops and thinks things through and has become the absolute sweetest horse on the property.
Her first ride went on without a hitch & she has been smooth sailing since!

We are so proud of this filly & can’t wait to see where she’s at in another 30 days.

Another one that went home this week!

Kitty was with us for 60 days, our first month was a ton of groundwork, trailer loading, picking up her feet, exposure, ponying etc. her first ride went off without a hitch & she just got better and better!
We kept her rides pretty light & easy with just being 2 and on the smaller side but man having a baby with such a good brain sure makes a world of difference! Not once did she ever put a foot out of place riding, she butt tucked and scooted twice but you couldn’t ask for better out of a young horse. I’m excited to see her mature & continue to progress with her owners.

After a major rainy day & extreme flooding yesterday we are back to business today!

We had some faces go home this last week and we’ve got quite a few new faces I haven’t introduced yet that I’ll have to make a separate post for. We’ve been so insanely busy I haven’t had a chance to really sit down and update the page.

Bo was a sad one to see go home this week but i am so excited to see his owners enjoy him! when these horses are with us for 90 days, they really become apart of the family.
When Bo arrived we struggled alot with his confidence out by himself and just outside riding in general, water was a big no go & anytime you asked him to leave another horse he wanted to throw in a few bucks and you really had to drive him to move off. My legs always hurt after riding from using so much leg keeping him in a lope😆 He went home much more willing to lope off & stay in a lope. No hesitation with water, and a lot more life experience in general. He was becoming one of the “go to” horses and we sure miss him already!

Studley sure made us work for it and he wasnt perfect after 30 days but the amount of confidence he gained from going back and fixing those holes, really shows why groundwork really matters! this was a horse someone had skipped the groundwork on and you could sure see it. He just wasn’t sure about anything, we went skiing a time or two getting him use to water & fly spray 😆
I am so glad we got the opportunity to give him the tools he needed to be a more confident horse.

Their owner sent us back with another gorgeous mare that we are already having fun with! We are so thankful for repeat customers and the support for our small business as we navigate this whole training stuff full time!

The young c**ts are making huge progress, new ponies are getting the hang of things, and the ones almost ready to go home are doing amazing.

Its bitter sweet to think we only have a short time left with Bo & Moose. These horses truly become apart of the family when they’re here for so long. We get sad to see them leave but so excited to see their owners get to enjoy them ❤️ we are so thankful we can be apart of that journey.
