Hey everyone, we are growing quickly and we are needing to hire another scoop technician!
This job will start out part-time but it’s rapidly growing so the number of hours will be steadily increasing.
There is room for growth and also we will be looking for solid workers to work up into management positions.

Lynchburg dog owners, we need to talk… 😏💩🐶

We’ve been hearing complaints about how bad the dog p**p problem is downtown, so we decided to take a look—and clean it up for the good of the community and the beauty of our city. This morning, we walked Main Street, Commerce Street, and Jefferson Street, and what we found was shocking—especially on Commerce Street. There was so much p**p in the areas around the trees, in flower beds, and even on the sidewalk! After filling 2 trash bags and over an hour later, it looked much better.

We love Lynchburg, and we know most dog owners are responsible, but it’s clear we have a problem here. We know we are not the first to notice this and be disgusted by it and we are wondering if it would help if there were more p**p-bag stations downtown. Maybe even grates around the trees, similar to what they already have around a lot of trees along Main Street, to help keep things cleaner.

Would you support the City of Lynchburg installing more bag stations? And does anyone know who to contact at the city to suggest these changes?

I included a picture of one of the grates along Main and a doggie bag station by The Craddock Hotel as examples of improvements that maybe could be done.😬
