Happy New Years! 359 Dogs and Cats passed through or are in our Shelter in 2025! Not all these stay in our care as they come in as strays and are returned to their owners. We begin the year with 7 dogs and 8 cats in the Shelter. No pet is placed for adoption until they clear medical (Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, Heartworm and tick born diseases for dogs, Felv/FIV for cats, microchip and sometimes extended training). Even when our Website says we have very few pets available for adoption we are still busy. Thank you for your support and we are looking forward to helping dogs and cats in need this year.

Another Happy Tail!!

Miss Pearl took some time to straighten up and fly right, but we love her to pieces, she’s been with us for 11 years. She came from Riverside Rescue and was a two time return.

As we celebrate Christmas today, I am thrilled to recognize the significant number of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens adopted into loving families. I am profoundly proud of our dedicated staff and volunteers who created a secure and nurturing space, offering temporary care until permanent homes were found. Whether their stays lasted days, weeks, or months, the assurance that they received proper care renders our efforts invaluable. Sharon

We received an update from Jenny who adopted our Senior Lady, Dakota, in December 2021. She wanted us to know that at 14 yrs she is slowing down a bit but is still an amazing dog. Her message is "Please adopt a Senior Pet. THEY ARE THE BEST!

Malcolm has gone to his forever home after 125 days in the Shelter. He is a special guy that wasn't going to enjoy other pet friends in his home and FINALLY his new family came to take him home! It was love at first sight for all family members! He is absolutely Home for the Holidays!

Check out these 2 kitties. Both have been with us for more than 100 days..... raising their babies. They are now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and patiently waiting for their new homes.
Bella is your 5 yr old typical calico, loving, friendly but on her terms. Prefers to be the only cat. Dog introduction will need to be slow.
Riley is a 2 yr old tabby cat. Beautiful stripes and just adores attention. She is a socal lady and would adjust into any home. She would love to have a lap to sit on and be treated like the princess she is.
Lets help them get into loving homes for Christmas 🎄
