Looking for a new home for Max, beautiful sweet fully vetted Husky. Max's owner is going into basic training at the end of August, so time is short.

Max is HW-, house trained, fully vetted and a little over a year old. The issue is Max has a high prey drive toward small animals so he can't go to a home with cats, small dogs, rabbits, etc. The other issue is he is an escape artist and his owner has a difficult time keeping him contained. ( nothing a petsafe shock collar system can’t fix) Max is fantastic with all humans and animals his size or larger. Any suggestions for rescue?

He is located in Hernando, Ms. The shelter is willing to transport up to 2 hours away. He's just not doing well in the shelter. He's used to being a house dog. And suffering from separation anxiety! He needs a new pet parent(s).

There is no fee. He is a courtesy rehoming for a military family.

Please pass this information along to everyone you know and send me a message on messenger along with your name and phone number. I will forward it to the shelter.

If a permanent home or foster home is not found by Wednesday 8/15/18 the shelter may have no choice but to terminate his life! Please I appeal to everyone please get the word out! Someone at least foster him until permanent arrangements can be made!
