Many of you know my husband Jay, who is also my kennel tech, videographer, co-trainer, dog walker, pooper scooper, and all-around right-hand man.
What some of you also may know is that Jay was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2022 and has been in remission since then. Unfortunately, we recently found out that it looks like testicular cancer has returned.
The good news is that we’ve been through this before and know what to expect. Jay is doing well overall, and we’re feeling hopeful and ready to tackle what’s ahead.
He’ll be having surgery at the end of the month, and we’re stepping back from taking on new clients during his recovery. This will not affect any current training programs—everything already scheduled will continue as planned. The dogs currently in our care are still receiving the same attention, structure, and love that we always provide.
We’re so grateful for the support and understanding from our Dog Haus family. Your kindness means the world to us, and we’re looking forward to being back at full strength soon. 💜
(If you've reached out recently and haven't heard back, thank you for your patience—we promise we're not ignoring you! We'll be back in touch when things settle down a bit. Current clients should continue reaching out as usual.)
