We provide animal protection, care, control, pet lost and found and pet adoption services for domestic animals in and around the Luling. Pierce street behind the Luling Police Station. How to visit:

🚨🦅 TRANSPORT HELP NEEDED! 🦅🚨

This little one came into Luling Animal Welfare Society in quite a predicament — a sticky trap was stuck to their body. 💔 Thankfully, we were able to safely remove the trap, and now this sweet bird is safe and being cared for. 🥹❤️

The next step is getting this little survivor to a wildlife rescue center in Elgin, where they can receive the specialized care they need.

Puppies, doggies and kitties, OH MY!

We have so many amazing babies waiting for their forever homes at our shelter. We are an open intake shelter in the city of Luling, TX who helps the stray animals of our community find safety! It is always our first priority to reunite stray babies with their owners, but sometimes there is no owner to be found and that’s when we step up to help the animal get healthy, work on training, socialization and good house members to help them become the best version of themselves for their future families!

🚨 FOUND & SAFE! 🚨

This sweet pup has been running around town all weekend, and we finally managed to get them to safety this morning! 🐾❤️

They are now safe at the shelter and, thankfully, microchipped, so we’re working on getting in touch with their owner. We thought we’d share here, too, because sometimes social media is the quickest way to get a family reunited! 🥹

We believe someone may have posted over the weekend saying they were missing this pup, but we can’t seem to find the post now. 🤔

We’re always in need of cat food donations to keep our shelter kitties happy, healthy, and full bellies. Every can, bag, or case makes a difference and helps us care for the cats who are waiting patiently for their forever families. 🐾💗

✨ ADOPTION UPDATE: PENNY! ✨

Look who is absolutely living her best life! 🥹💕 Our sweet Anya has officially settled into her forever home with her dad and her new sister, and we couldn’t be happier for her!

She’s been renamed Penny because her dad felt like the name fit her better—and honestly, we think it suits this happy girl perfectly. 🥰

Penny is loving life with her sister, going on adventures, soaking up all the love from her dad, and enjoying the very important luxury of having multiple dog beds scattered throughout the house. 😂🐾 Because obviously, a girl needs options!

It’s so incredibly special to see her thriving, surrounded by love, comfort, and a family who adores her. This is exactly what we hoped for when we started her journey. ❤️

Hi friends! It’s Declan, Oakleigh & Spike! 👋🐶

Our buddies Wiggles and Dusty found their forever families at the amazing Harley-Davidson adoption event this weekend! 🎉 They waited so patiently, and finally, their happily-ever-after came true. 🏡❤️

And while we are SO happy for our friends, we can’t help but wonder… when will it be our turn? 🥺

We’re still here, waiting for someone to walk in, fall in love, and realize that one of us is exactly who they’ve been looking for. ❤️

We promise we have so much love, fun, cuddles, and loyalty to give. We just need someone to give us a chance. 🐾

This sweet baby was found running near Zedlar Mill and is now safe with us at Luling Animal Welfare Society. ❤️

We know there is someone out there who is missing this beautiful pup, and we want nothing more than to get them back home where they belong. 🏡

They will be on a 3-day stray hold, so please SHARE this post far and wide! A share could be the one thing that helps their family find them. 🙏

After the stray hold, we will need a foster or rescue to step up if their family cannot be located. We want to make sure this baby has a safe place to go and doesn’t end up without options. 💔

Yesterday was a BIG day for two very special boys. 🥹❤️

Dusty and Mr. Wiggles both found their forever homes at the most amazing adoption event at Teddy Morse’s Cowboy Harley-Davidson of Austin , and we could not be happier for them. 🐾

Dusty has been waiting months and months for his chance at a forever home. He kept waiting, hoping that his person would finally walk through the door… and yesterday, his dad did. He instantly fell in love with Dusty, and just like that, his wait was over. 🥹❤️

And then there’s Mr. Wiggles. 💙 15 months. That’s how long this sweet boy waited for someone to choose him. Yesterday, his dad finally came along—and the timing could not have been more perfect. He just moved into his new home, and Mr. Wiggles will have his very own yard where he can RUN, PLAY, zoom around, and be his happiest little self. 🥹🐶

After so much waiting, wondering, and hoping, these boys finally got the ending they deserved.

Adopted. Chosen. Home. Forever. 🏡❤️

We are so incredibly happy and grateful for these happy ever afters. And we are SO thankful to Harley-Davidson for hosting such an incredible event and helping make moments like these possible.

There are no words big enough to express how grateful we are for this community. ❤️

We had the most INCREDIBLE time at the Teddy Morse’s Cowboy Harley-Davidson of Austin ! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed, supported, and loved. The turnout was amazing, and watching our dogs and kitties soak up all the attention and love was truly the best. 🐾

And then… TWO of our babies found their forever homes! 🥹❤️ Between them, they had been waiting almost TWO YEARS combined. Seeing them finally get the happy ending they deserved made this day even more special.

A HUGE thank you to Teddy Morse’s Cowboy Harley-Davidson of Austin for opening your doors and hosting us, for believing in our mission, and for making our animals feel so loved. Thank you to our incredibly generous donors who filled our raffle baskets with the BEST goodies. Thank you to every single volunteer who helped set up, prepare behind the scenes, work the event, and make the day run smoothly. And thank you to EVERYONE who came out, donated, entered the raffle, loved on our animals, shared our mission, and supported Luling Animal Welfare Society.

It takes a village to save lives, and yesterday was such a beautiful reminder of just how incredible our village is. 🥹🐾

We are so, so grateful. Thank you for showing up for the animals. ❤️
