A Good Samaritan brought this stray puppy (now named Bailey) into our clinic as a hit by car, unable to stand.
Upon examination and taking of radiographs, it was confirmed that Bailey had a left femur mid shaft fracture & right femoral head fracture.
Next step was to get Bailey scheduled for surgery for repairs.
After approximately 3 hours of surgery done by Dr. Spilker, Bailey is recovering well.
She will need additional follow up visits, along with radiographs and will need to have the pins removed.
Overall we are grateful to be able to provide Bailey the life she deserves.

Meet Dr. Jessica-Brooke Jamboretz

Raised amidst the diverse landscapes of Montana and Oregon, my early life was enriched by a variety of animals, sparking a passion that led me to the veterinary field during high school.

This foundational experience inspired me to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Oregon State University, which I completed in 2018. Since graduation, I have gained valuable experience as a small animal practitioner in New Mexico and Arizona.

My husband and I, along with our two cats, are enjoying a change of scenery since moving to South Carolina. I am now eager to bring my skills and dedication to VMS, where I look forward to continuing to provide compassionate and comprehensive care as a relief veterinarian.
