Long County Animal Control would like to extend our sincere appreciation to K9 Battle Buddies for their continued support and dedication to animal welfare.

Today, their team stepped up once again and pulled 12 cats and 8 puppies from our shelter, helping provide these animals with a second chance at finding loving homes. Partnerships like this make a tremendous difference for our community and the animals in our care.

We are truly grateful for your compassion, commitment, and willingness to help when it is needed most. Thank you for all that you do for Long County and the surrounding communities.

The Long County Animal Control extends its sincere gratitude to Jocelyn Marie Chambers, Sales and Marketing Associate for Acosta, for reaching out and offering assistance during this difficult time. Your kindness, initiative, and willingness to support those in need are deeply appreciated.

We also express our profound appreciation to the Fort Stewart Commissary, as well as the generous contributions from Purina, PMG, and BlueTriton Brands. These donations provided critical supplies to residents of Brantley County affected by the wildfire, including four pallets of pet food, one pallet of water, one pallet of diapers, and pecans. In addition, one pallet of dog food and one pallet of water were donated specifically to Long County. These contributions have made a meaningful difference for families, pets, and emergency response efforts.

We extend special thanks to the Long County Fire Department and Deputy EMA Director Alyssa Moss for their coordination and support in facilitating these efforts. Appreciation is also extended to Captain Julian for the transportation of donated supplies, ensuring they reached those in need safely. This response reflects the strength of coordinated teamwork and community.
Please continue to keep Brantley County and the firefighters actively engaged in combating this wildfire in your thoughts and prayers.
