From Campbell Hall, New York, Alea Lasaponara and Never Dun Dreamn will be bringing back a Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2 and Level 3 Championship to the Northeast.

Marking a 71.5, Lasaponara and the 5-year-old stallion by Magnum Chic Dream and out of ARC Dun With Ya won over a thousand dollars between the two wins.

“I've had him for a little over a year now, and he's taught me so much. He's been really fun to show,” Lasaponara said.

Never Dun Dreamn is bred by Vicki Dias and owned by AML Reiners. While Lasaponara and the gelding’s Derby Prelims earlier this week didn’t go perfectly, they were able to smooth things over in Slate 2 of the Novice Horse Non Pro.

“My plan on my run today was to just go in and give him a good, confident ride. I showed him in the Derby Prelims, and we had a little bit of bobbles here and there, so I just wanted to go back and just give him a nice, confident ride.”

The pair definitely picked up a boost of confidence with the win, but Lasaponara’s confidence isn’t only measured in wins; her team of people are her ultimate encouragers.

“I would like to thank my family, my team – especially Josiane (Gauthier). I wouldn't be able to do any of this without her. Really, this is all God's plan at the end of the day.”
