You don’t see bath dogs often shown on many grooming pages because most people think…it takes no skill to bathe a dog. No need to show that skill, right? That couldn’t be more wrong! It takes technique and knowledge to bathe, and properly blow dry dogs! There are many types of dog coats. Some of those coats take different methods to get clean and/or blow dryed correctly. You also have to think of the dogs skin. Is it dry? Is it oily? Does your dog have lots of undercoat that needs to come out? That takes different types of shampoos, conditioners and different blow drying techniques. I dont blow dry my french bulldogs the same way i blow dry a husky. Know when to use what and when to use it. When I bathe your dog I’m not bathing it to have it clean for the day, or even a couple days. I’m bathing it so it can be clean for weeks. (Unless your dog goes home and plays in the mud🫠🤣) Not only clean but also make sure the skin is nourished and everything is healthy! I could write a book about how bathing a dog is not as easy as you might think. At the end of the day, i just want only the best for your dogs and to make sure they are happy and healthy!

Oakley and Dottie! 🐾💖The two sisters had fun swimming while with their dog sitter! 💦🫧 They came today for just a bath and mini groom! They are now fresh and clean again! I love these girls and their owners!

Id love to share how important education is. These two big fluffy doodles are Oakley and Dottie! 4 months ago i had to shave them to the skin. When they first came to me they were matted to the skin and had to be shaved all the way down. Mom was super sad (made aware of course before they were shaved) that they had to be shaved but I promised her if she came in every two weeks, and properly brushed them we’d get them big, and fluffy again in no time! It’s now been about 4 months since the big shave. Mom and her daughter have been brushing and bringing Dottie and Oakley every two weeks for their maintenance baths and brush. Not a single tangle in these girls! Mom and daughter have been super happy to have the best looking doodles in Lubbock! 💕🐾🐾Feel free to reach out and ask me how to help maintain your pup!
