Texasteacupsyorkies.com is committed to providing the highest level of care for our puppies, which is why we do not perform tail docking or cropping. This decision, made in 2010, reflects our dedication to minimizing unnecessary pain and stress for our puppies. By preserving their natural tails, we believe our puppies are able to express their unique personalities and beauty more fully. Although the AKC standards recommend tail docking, we have chosen to prioritize the welfare of our puppies and forego this practice for those destined for pet homes only. Notably, our clients have not participated in AKC ring competitions over the past 40 years. In contrast, our breeding parents have earned championship titles in the ring with their natural tails and without alterations, holding titles in Russia, Bulgaria, and Hungary, as well as FCI pedigrees. Due to concerns regarding the AKC's breeding practices, we have ceased to provide AKC paperwork and instead uphold a strict pet-home-only policy.

It’s Bath day. And she decided to air dry outside on this warm day. This is Sprite, she is an extremely tiny princess. She’s 8 months old, and weighs 1.6 pounds. Her adult hair is coming in beautifully. Because she’s so tiny, only around 4-5 inches tall, her hair will soon hit the ground. Her older brother is-the mighty 2 pound boy. Gio.
