🐾❄️ Wintry Weather Alert for Our Blue Sky Kennels Family ❄️🐾
West Texas is expecting a wintry storm, and just like us, our furry family members need a little extra care to stay safe and comfortable. Here are a few helpful tips to keep your dogs protected during the cold:
🐶 Keep them warm – Limit time outdoors, especially for short-haired or senior dogs. A cozy sweater or jacket can help on quick potty breaks.
🏠 Shelter matters – Dogs should be indoors during freezing temperatures and always have a warm, dry place to rest.
💧 Fresh water – Check bowls often to make sure water isn’t frozen. Hydration is just as important in cold weather.
🐾 Protect those paws – Ice, snow, and de-icers can irritate paw pads. Wipe paws after walks and watch for cracking or limping.
🍖 Extra nourishment – Dogs may burn more energy staying warm, so make sure they’re eating well.
💙 Rest assured, at Blue Sky Kennels your dogs are in good hands.
🚰 We are fully prepared for winter weather with emergency water available in case pipes freeze.
🔥 All of our kennels are heated, keeping your pups warm, safe, and comfortable throughout the storm.
👩⚕️🐕 No matter how bad the weather gets, our team still comes in to care for your dogs, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.
💙 Thank you for being part of the Blue Sky Kennels family. Stay safe, stay warm, and reach out anytime if you need us!
