We are so excited to share our official launch as the CB Stables Farm Sanctuary, a project of Yogaforvets.org!
YogaforVets.org has been connecting those that have served with communities that heal since 2007 and now is looking for your support to expand our programs and offerings with a physical home base in Palm Beach County, Florida.
We have found a peaceful retreat experience tucked away in Loxahatchee Groves FL, just outside Wellington, on a working horse farm that lets us offer outdoor and equine activities for veterans and their families, as well as the general public.
Can you help us purchase land to preserve a natural environment for our Veterans and First Responders in this unique area? We have Randy Hamlin, a combat wounded Veteran and certified yoga teacher, leading our yoga and mindfulness programs, and Madalaine Baer, a human & horse therapy professional, managing a diverse herd of rescue horses, offering positive reinforcement based equine experiences for individuals and small groups.
Our programs aim to:
*Empower our service men, women, and families by facilitating an environment for healing through the power of intention and community.
*Preserve endangered Florida native habitat by protecting farmland and supporting regenerative agriculture.
*Provide safe sanctuary homes for abused and neglected animals, and prevent animals from reaching the slaughter pipeline, alongside educational programming for animal health and welfare.
*Support staff health and wellness for associated programs and groups serving veterans and trauma survivors.
*Now* we need your help - spread the word, donate to the fund, and join our team if you can - so the horses and veterans that we serve can have a stable home for years to come. We have given 4 amazing horses sanctuary homes and want to double that to support a herd of 8 in the coming year. We have worked with over 50 individuals in our first 2 years here that either served directly, are family of those who served, and/or cPTSD survivors. And with your help, we can keep growing to own our farm and offer more classes, activities, and services to our community.
