As we prepare for the Holiday & Horses competition series, we continue to monitor the national EHV-1 situation closely in partnership with the USEF and our Official Veterinary Partners, Palm Beach Equine Clinic.

We would like to remind our exhibitors that Wellington International’s established biosecurity protocols, which can be found on our website under Horse Show Forms (https://bit.ly/44AwasX), are our strongest line of defense against communicable diseases. Your participation in these protocols ensures the safest possible environment for every horse at our facility.

We ask all exhibitors to uphold the highest standards of horse care:

• Report any fever or exposure immediately
• Maintain twice-daily temperature logs
• Do not bring horses who have had a fever within 72 hours or exposure in the past 28 days
• Isolation stalls are available on-site as needed

Several members of our team attended this weekend the “Leading with Emotional Intelligence” workshop. Every person in our clinic is valuable, and each one of them is a leader in our organization in their own way.
By developing stronger self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management, we grow not only as individuals but as a unified team. This growth strengthens how we communicate, how we support one another, and ultimately how we serve our clients and care for our patients.

November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month

This month, we want to celebrate and recognize our amazing clients who have opened their hearts to senior pets—those who were once abandoned or forgotten. As humans, we have failed many of them, but the kindness of people like you helps restore balance and hope.

The eyes of a rescued senior pet tell a story—of sadness, resilience, and gratitude for a second chance at life. Their quiet love reminds us that compassion can heal even the deepest wounds.

To honor your generosity, Anzer Animal Hospital is offering 10% off services for all adopted senior pets throughout November—our small way of giving back to the heroes who give these pets a new beginning.

Together, we can make their golden years truly shine. ❤️

Halloween is an exciting time unfortunately black cats are often at risk.

Some believe black cats are symbols of bad luck or are associated with superstitions and rituals.

To keep your black cat safe. Never leave your black cat unattended outside in the days leading up to Halloween; with trick-or-treaters frequently knocking or ringing the doorbell, it’s easy for your cat to get spooked or find an opportunity to slip outside. Having a collar with an ID tag or a microchip can also significantly increase the chances of your cat being returned safely if they manage to get out.

If you know your cat struggles with anxiety, talk to Anzer Animal Hospital about ways to help manage their stress.

Microchipping is a simple and effective way to ensure your cat can be identified if they get lost. If your cat isn’t already microchipped, Anzer Animal Hospital offers microchipping services to help protect your black cat year-round.

At Anzer Animal Hospital, we take care of every detail so your pet can travel safely — whether it’s across the country or around the world.

Here’s what you need to know:
1️⃣ Medical Exam: Your pet must be examined by a veterinarian within 10 days before leaving the country.
2️⃣ Destination Requirements: Every country is different — some require specific vaccines, microchip or lab tests that can take time.
3️⃣ We Do the Research for You: Our team will find out exactly what your country of destination requires, so you don’t have to worry.
4️⃣ USDA Endorsement: Once your pet is examined and documents are ready, we will submit the Health Certificate to the USDA for official endorsement.
