Had the honor of clipping this gorgeous girl! I was told she would need sedation, I am always for no sedation unless they’re dangerous. I gave her a shot without it, she was perfect! Just needed to be understood and move slow. Every horse I clip is treated with respect and always ends with a positive experience! 🥰

Meet the newest addition to miss Bonnie was rescued from the slaughter pen. She needed a big make over with matching her coat with our hot humid climate! She was the happiest girl and at the end you could tell she appreciated it sooooo much 💜 this is why I love what I do.

Established in 2015, Britt’s Body Clipping was an idea of mine to help local equines and livestock deal with the South Florida climate. With 17 years of experience focused on such aspects as; body clipping equines, donkeys, goats, and cows; sheath cleaning, pull/cutting manes, bathing and sheep shearing.
At the young age of 14 years old, I started clipping my very own (3) horses to keep them cool. My Thoroughbred has issues sweating and suffers from sweet itch. I found the cure was to keep him clipped all year round and comfortable. My paint regularly has fungus issues with our humid climate, to combat it he stays clipped all year round as well. For you Miniature horse owners, we all know how hairy they get. My miniature horse is no different, she is also a non-sweater. I currently manage a barn with 11 horses, the remaining 8 have been serviced by me for years. With the years of servicing my own and barns horses, clipping became natural to me. Understanding their needs to temperaments with all types of horses such as; working horses, show horses, barrel racers, retirees and so on. Routine sheath cleaning is recommended to alleviate potential irritation and infections caused by sm**ma.
I’m a full year-round resident offering these services 7 days a week. We all know summer is definitely too hot for their “summer” coats, but winter hair growth can be too hot for Florida temperatures.
I’m based in West Palm/Loxahatchee area and on certain days of the week I service surrounding areas with existing clients in Palm City, Southwest Ranches and occasionally Fort Myers. Open to arising opportunities in other cities.
With my years of experience I’ve learned what today’s best methods and equipment are. I spare no expense to stay up to date with special blades for blending, tidy ups, and removal of ear hair and whiskers when asked. My top of the line clippers will streamline your appointment and get the best results for equine and customers.
