This adorable 4-month-old Golden Cavalier had his very first training session with us! We started by charging the marker and introducing him to luring, building the foundation for lots of learning ahead. 🦴✨

Meet Bucky 🐾 a 6-month-old Cane Corso starting his training journey with us.

Session #1 is all about building the foundation: charging the marker.

Right now, the marker doesn’t mean anything to Bucky. Our goal is simple: create a strong association using classical conditioning between the marker and something he values — food. Marker → reward. Marker → reward.

We’re not worried about obedience yet. We’re teaching Bucky the language of training so that later, when he hears that marker, he understands exactly what it means:

“YES — that behavior is what I wanted.” 🎯

A clear marker gives us precise communication, and precise communication makes everything we teach from here easier.

Xena is a 6-month-old Doberman who just kicked off her 6-week program with Full Send K9.

This is session #1, and we’re starting right where we should—charging the marker and introducing luring into position. The goal right now isn’t perfection; it’s teaching her how the game works and building a clear line of communication.

Xena came ready to work. Focused, food motivated, and catching on FAST.

Some dogs make you earn every inch… Xena just makes me look good. 😂

🐾 Real training happens in the real world.

Today Macy took her skills to the local shopping plaza, working through shopping carts, kids running around, passing cars, unfamiliar people, and all the distractions that come with everyday life.

The goal isn’t to teach new behaviors in these environments—it’s to proof the ones she already knows. A dog that only listens in the backyard isn’t truly trained. Reliability is built by taking known behaviors into increasingly challenging environments until they become second nature.

Macy absolutely crushed it today. 👏🔥

I’m kicking around the idea of putting together a 3-Day Puppy Development Seminar, and I’d love to see if there’s enough interest.

This wouldn’t be your typical obedience class. We’d dive deep into the foundation that creates great dogs, whether your goal is a family companion, hunting dog, sport dog, or working K9.

Topics would include:
🐾 Marker training
🐾 Free shaping behaviors
🐾 Building food drive and engagement
🐾 Teaching puppies how to learn
🐾 Operant conditioning made practical
🐾 Direct vs. indirect rewards
🐾 Creating confidence, problem-solving, and clear communication from day one

The seminar would include classroom instruction, live demonstrations, and limited working spots for puppies so you can apply the concepts in real time.

Before I lock in dates and a location, I wanted to gauge interest.
